Sometimes we tackle large, commercial jobs. In fact, we have cleaned entire hospitals and nursing homes in the Red River Valley measuring 20,000 or more square feet. We completed a large job in downtown Fargo, which involved most of the offices and conference areas of City Hall, which you can see in these photos.
Planning & Preparation Is Key…
These jobs require a little more preparation and time to set up, and usually, the cleaning goes smoothly once things get set up. Factors we take into consideration on commercial jobs are:
Building Access: Can we get into the facility and maintain a security. In the case of Fargo City Hall, this required an additional person to check the entry points occasionally.
Safety: In hospitals, busy offices, retail and nursing homes, we post a number of signs to alert people that we were cleaning and moving equipment, etc. and to avoid people tripping over our hoses.
Job Quality: Often, traditional steam cleaning methods are all that is needed to clean commercial carpets. Sometimes, you need to use additional methods to break up embedded dirt and grime from heavy traffic lanes. Each job is a little different.
Price & Production: Since we use a very powerful steam cleaner, we can provide competitive bids on large jobs. The rate of production (how fast we can get the job done) is much better than with a portable steam cleaner.
